STEP 1: Effleurage to Warm the Entire Arm

Begin by warming and relaxing the entire arm (Reference: What is Effleurage?).
Massage from the fingertips to the shoulders using the entire palm. Slowly glide your hands upward from the client’s fingertips, palms, forearms, upper arms, and up to the shoulders while applying oil.
Use gentle pressure and smooth strokes, keeping the flow directed toward the heart to promote lymphatic drainage.
STEP 2: Petrissage to Loosen Forearm Muscles

The forearm tends to become stiff due to activities such as computer work. Carefully loosening this area helps relieve tension in the wrists and fingers (Reference: What is Petrissage?).
Hold the client’s forearm with both hands and alternately knead as if wringing a towel.
Then, apply gentle deep pressure with your thumbs along the inner and outer grooves of the forearm muscles.
Pay extra attention to the area near the wrists.
STEP 3: Kneading to Release Upper Arm Muscles

The upper arm is closely related to shoulder fatigue. Loosening this area helps ease tension in the shoulders and neck (Reference: What is Kneading?).
Grasp the upper arm muscles firmly with both hands and knead the entire area.
Then, hold the upper arm between both hands and twist gently as if wringing a towel to loosen the muscle fibers.
STEP 4: Care for the Hands and Fingers

The palms and fingers contain many pressure points and nerves. Stimulating these areas helps promote overall body relaxation and recovery.
Use the base of your thumb or palm to press the entire palm firmly but comfortably.
Knead the base of each finger carefully, then gently pull toward the fingertips.
Rotate each finger joint and slide your fingertips smoothly between the fingers to massage the spaces in between.
